I know I am such a whore for "black & white".
"Black and white" cleanses my eyes and soul. Haha. I am way dramatic here, but I see the shapes and compositions so much clearer without the clutters of colors. Not always the case, I know. Lots of times, right usage of colors make things that much special, but I think "black and white" is old but good standard trick.
Ever since I started decorating our new house virtually, I have been demanding a particular style of photography to Kevin. I came across a few photography that I absolutely wanted to have, but I have a funny feeling about getting someone else's photos when I have my photographer at home.
I love their compositions, the contrasts and simplicity, yet their depth in those pictures.
We did a family photo shoot today. I needed black and white pictures of us for my next project. So Kevin did quick and dirty light set up in the house and we got some pictures for the project. But some pictures that we took in between the shots turned out pretty good, so I decided to create something in the line of my admiration towards their photography.
I know it can't be really compared to the originals, but with the help of my photographer, and my dear subjects, this would make it in the big picture frame for the house.
Ah, and Kevin is going to have this framed for his office.
